Delete your account

1 Delete in the app

Open 1RM, go to Settings, tap Delete account, and confirm. Your account and everything listed under "What gets deleted" is permanently deleted straight away. You don't need to email us or wait.

2 Delete without the app

Email feedback@1repm.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We'll permanently delete your account and the data below within 30 days and confirm by email.

3 What gets deleted

• Your account: your login email, password, and any Google or Apple sign-in linked to it.
• Your profile: display name, profile picture, visibility setting, and join date.
• Your account backup: workouts, sets and weights, weigh-ins, body weight logs, progress photos, daily step totals, your training plan, trophies, and settings.
• Your social data: who you follow, who follows you, people you've blocked, featured personal bests, progress charts, and your activity feed.
• Trophy verification submissions: the videos, gym, location, and Instagram handle you sent in.
• Reports you've made about other users.

4 What we keep

• Reports other users made about your account. These are kept so we can deal with abuse. They contain your account ID and display name, plus what the reporter wrote, and nothing else from your account.
• Subscription records. Purchases are handled by Google Play (or Apple) and our billing provider, RevenueCat, who keep their own records under their own policies. Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription, so cancel it first in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions.

Deleted data may remain in our hosting provider's routine backups for a limited time until they're overwritten. We don't keep any other copies.

5 Deleting some of your data

To delete specific data without closing your account, email feedback@1repm.com from the email address on your account and tell us what you'd like removed. We'll delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.

In the app, you can also turn your profile's visibility off in Settings so other users can't see it, and Settings → Redo setup clears everything on your device along with your trophy verification submissions.

6 Data on your device

Deleting your account in the app also clears the app's data on that phone. On any other device, uninstalling the app removes it.
